apple universe

i'm finally feeling the downside of the apple world. google talk. definition: talking to friends (verbally!) through your computer. supposed to be really amazing.. to the point that you could stay up all night just talking to friends (b/c its just that cool). but alas, not compatible with me or my g4 powerbook. other recent problems i will be taking up with whoever will listen: my battery is no longer connected to my computer. that is, it's in place but not fueling. that is, i can only use my comp when it's plugged in. that is, my computer will reset to 1969 everytime i close it. that is, it's completely FUCKED. in other areas, application use is becoming a struggle with my 2-yr-old fully loved (not fully beaten) baby. the new imovie i made for the 2005 tufts med variety show doesn't run on my comp. had to borrow branden's just to make it. (so proud of myself for this new accomplishment btw). b/c comp won't import more than 1.2 secs of vid without freaking out. and this is after using the 120gb external harddrive as the disk. additionally, the screen on my comp blacks out every other min and i have to put it to sleep before it'll regain it's color. (this one's complicated to explain, but trust me, the comp needs HELP). this weekend i shall face the almighty apple team with the problems i have experienced with g$. (yea, G Money.. as in, G Shift+4). i don't know if i am fully prepared for the shock that will come over their faces when they see the condition of my comp. and frankly, i'm afraid they will turn me away without even touching it. just cuz my baby has a few divets and scratches, does it mean that it doesnt deserve the same love?

been a.. DAMN! there goes that blackout thing again.. like i was saying.. been a long while hasnt it? well here's my update: still in boston. RULING BOSTON. (obviously). medschool is the pits. not really. i'm just lazy. regardless, stella's bacKK! (the moment you've all been waiting for?) talk to you soon :)
